Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actor soon after her move to the United States. She gained notoriety for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since 2020. Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she appeared in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub was originally selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. At the age of five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She was kicked out of her sophomore year and earned an GED. Then, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
