 Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30, 1991 is an American rapper and singer. He is known as his initials NF, that can be written as in the form of IF. Two EPs have been released: I'm Free (2012) [3] as well as an EP with a self-titled title from Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was the first album he released on a major label. His second studio album, Therapy Session (April 22 and 23, 2016) was a top-selling album at 12 for the US Billboard 200. The albums have been honoured with numerous awards. One of these includes the Gospel Music Association Dove Award, Rap/Hip Hop Album Of The Year (Therapy Session). In 2017, Perception entered the mainstream. It reached the top of the charts at number 1 in the United States and was also certified platinum. When its third single "Let You Down" reached number 12 on the U.S. charts, NF gained mainstream popularity in the year 2017. Billboard Hot 100 and a top ten international hit. He achieved similar commercial success with his follow up The Search (2019). Feuerstein stated that rap music was a means of escape for his family members during his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs on a Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals on one mic and his raps one. Feuerstein released Moments the first studio album, independently on the 29th of November, 2010. On August 2, 2011 Feuerstein released his debut single "Alone". Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the song was featured. In 2012, the work of Feuerstein attracted the attention of Xist Music. Feuerstein released his debut extended work, I'm free on May 2nd, 2012. Profitt produced it. The tracklist consisted of nine songs including "Alone". The EP also featured the original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist released a teaser for the release of their self-titled extended track, NF. However, Feuerstein separated from the label during the midst of a dispute. The production of NF was subsequently delayed. NF featured a track, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1 On November 4, 2013, he issued the single "Beautiful Addiction" and it was released on November 4. Profitt was heard on the track, along with the vocals of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
