Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name he uses is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a record agreement with Epic Records and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015), his debut album on the studio was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) reached number one on the Billboard 200. Scott followed that year with an album with a name of Huncho Jack Huncho and was released under the title Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was also received acclaim by critics. The album was the source of the debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was able to release the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to reach number one on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
