Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director, producer, playwright as well as an educator for St. Thomas University. Her father comes from Britain as does her mother, who is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's early memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mother's work. When she was a girl, she appeared in various commercials. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She ended up making the move into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged.
