Reese Witherspoon began seriously pursuing her acting career following taking a class at Stanford University. Witherspoon has had great success in her roles as the TV star and producer in David E. Kelley's award-winning TV Series Big Little Lies. Witherspoon is the daughter of a doctor and a nurse.
